Run commands from the repository root.

Application

Command	Purpose
`npm run dev`	Start the Next.js development server.
`npm run build`	Create the production Next.js build.
`npm start`	Serve the production build.
`npm run demo:seed`	Seed the local demo workspace.
`npm run demo:reset`	Reset migrations and demo data to a repeatable local state.

Tests and static checks

Command	Purpose
`npm test`	Run the Vitest unit suite.
`npm run test:integration`	Run CockroachDB integration tests.
`npm run test:e2e`	Run Playwright desktop and mobile lifecycle/accessibility tests.
`npm run test:starter`	Build and verify rendered starter HTML.
`npm run lint`	Run ESLint with generated-output exclusions.
`npm run typecheck`	Run TypeScript without emitting files.
`npm run verify`	Run unit, integration, lint, typecheck, and production build checks.

`npm run docs:dev`	Start a local Mintlify preview without opening a browser.
`npm run docs:validate`	Validate Mintlify configuration and MDX.
`npm run docs:links`	Check internal links and heading anchors.

Database and infrastructure

`npm run db:generate`	Generate Drizzle migration output from schema changes.
`npm run db:migrate`	Apply production migrations with cluster-identity checks.
`npm run infra:validate`	Lint the AWS SAM template.
`npm run infra:build`	Build the SAM application.
`npm run production:parameters`	Generate protected production parameters from the environment.
`npm run deploy:production`	Run the guarded production deployment script.

Production evidence

Command	Purpose
`npm run aws:smoke`	Verify AWS identity, stack resources, providers, and workspace bootstrap.
`npm run evidence:context`	Establish the authenticated, fail-closed evidence context.
`npm run vector:evidence`	Verify the vector column, index visibility, readiness, and query plan.
`npm run ccloud:evidence`	Verify cluster identity and state with CockroachDB Cloud tooling.
`npm run cloud:evidence`	Compose the redacted production evidence receipt.
`npm run production:audit`	Validate the receipt and production contract.
